In the previous set of European construction statistics, released in November last year, the UK was expected to record construction output growth of 5.2 per cent in 2014, followed by 5.1 per cent in 2015.

The new forecasts, however, have been revised up thanks to the UK market’s relative economic stability with output growth for 2014 being updated to 7.1 per cent, with a rise of 5.7 per cent forecast for 2015.

Crucially, this sustained increase in output means the UK will overtake France to become Europe’s second largest construction market by output in 2016 behind Germany.

Consolid products can be used across the construction sector and it is because of its uniqueness that it is possible to use with almost any type of soil. The Consolid system can upgrade any type of soil in respect of the soaked CBR tests by 3 to 5 times of the value of the untreated soils; in more than 50% of all cases during the last 40 years the improvement factor is more than 5.

With construction likely to be at the forefront of the UK’s strengthening European position, it is even more likely that pressure will be applied to ensure the construction and refurbishment of buildings takes into consideration its impact on the environment. The Consolid system is unique in the world; it is without competition and will successfully convert poor grades of soils into usable material.

The Consolid System can be used in any new or restoration project to strengthen the base layers in the construction sector from housing to sport stadia, from a car park to a new supermarket.

Consolid can be mixed with the in-situ soils and recycled material to form a barrier to capillary rise, frost heave and permeability of water; the process is permanent and irreversible once dried.

By using Consolid in any construction project you will be saving costs, financially and to the environment.
